My Uncle and his family had traveled quite often to Belize and stayed at this resort.........they always raved about it and I always dreamed of getting there. Belize (and Costa Rica) are very alluring destinations for me in a part of the world where I have yet to tread!

I'm wondering if others have been to this resort recently and if so, what were the highlights (or any caveats) to consider as I start to plan my desperately needed tropical getaway!

Any other resort ideas in Belize are also of interest as it's always good to have options for comparing/contrasting!

Many thanks for the help of our Community Members!

Hiya,

Jaguar Paw is a great point for Inland destination. Another great one is Five sisters at http://www.fivesistersloge.com which is in a pine forest up in the hills of western belize, and close to maya ruins (look up Caracol, Xunantunich and Cahal Pech).

If diving is your thing, then Manta and Blackbird are really excellent resorts, located on private island.

Hope you really enjoy your trip!

I would say YEAH to Five Sisters Lodge. Much more to see and do. And they can take you cave tubing and to the Zip Line, which are the highlights of Jaguar Paw.
