Upgrade Completed; But still a work in progress!

Hello travelers!

As you can see, we upgraded our forums on Wednesday Oct 15th. We're back up and running, but we are still a work in progress! We'll be renaming things and creating an all around better experience. In the meantime, you can use the forums (the functionality is extremely similar to what you are used to). We hope to be finished tweaking things very shortly. Thank you for your patience; it is appreciated!

  • Arriving at Airport in Santiago

We are flying to Santiago and boarding a cruise ship in Valparaiso. All of the flights available to us are overnight arriving into Valparaiso around 8 a.m. Will this allow enough time to get to the port by mid-day or should we plan to arrive a day earlier?
    Thank you

You can get to the port in time (120 miles), but I would never go on a cruise without at least an extra day to deal with problems like airline cancelations, lost baggage etc. We have been on a number of cruises and each time there are people who have to fly to the next port to board and a few that don't have their luggage. An extra day gives you some added assurance.
