Upgrade Completed; But still a work in progress!

Hello travelers!

As you can see, we upgraded our forums on Wednesday Oct 15th. We're back up and running, but we are still a work in progress! We'll be renaming things and creating an all around better experience. In the meantime, you can use the forums (the functionality is extremely similar to what you are used to). We hope to be finished tweaking things very shortly. Thank you for your patience; it is appreciated!

  • Monte Carlo to St. Paul de Vence

Is there no way to travel from Monte Carlo to St. Paul de Vence? I have searched the internet and cannot find how to get from Monte Carlo to St. Paul de Vence by bus or train. Is this not possible to do? I really want to spend the day in St. Paul de Vence when the cruise arrives in Monte Carlo, having been to Monte Carlo twice before.
    Thanks, Waterway

    Hi there,

I'm not sure of the answer to your question, but you might want to try contacting the French tourist board -- they might have some info for you. You can contact them here: http://www.francetourism.com/practic...mquestions.htm.

Good luck! Let us know what you find out.

You will have to take both, as there is no train station in St Paul.
Take a train from Monaco to Caganes sur Mer. There take the bus line400 to St Paul (15 minutes) or a taxi if it is after hours . For exemple taxi Daniel / phone number 06 85 57 13 10
You can also take the train just to Nice , and take the same line bus (400) to St paul . Takes one hour / depart every 30 or 45 minutes.

Re: Monte Carlo to St. Paul de Vence

          Hi, Simobr and Soliteyah:
I emailed the French tourist bureau but got no response. I saw, on one of the cruise critic boards that taking the train & then the bus from Cagnes sur mer is problematic because the 400 bus fills up at Nice and then may skip Cagnes because it's full. The cruise critic board recommended taking a bus to the bus station at Nice & then switching for bus 400. My problem is that I cannot find out which bus stop in Nice is the bus stop for the bus station - there's a lot of bus stops in Nice with bus 100 from Monte Carlo - anybody know?
          Thanks
