I personally select and visit the most wonderful all castles. There are plenty of big and gorgeous castles in India. The royal state of Rajasthan has glorious castles telling the story of velour of the warriors who fought throughout their life.
I love most of them on your list, although I prefer the genuinely old ones built for fortification.
My local castle, Egremont, is a sad little ruin now, and the only wars it saw was when Robert the Bruce, or his minions, came rampaging over the Border from Scotland to burn and destroy a little....it's really just a park for a pleasant afternoon, or a staged medieval battle....we also have a Roman garrison nearby, up an impossible pass in the mountains.
Love Warwick, Windsor and Alnwick; I shall have to go local and add Hadrian's wall, and our county castle of Carlisle.....officially still barred to anyone named Armstrong after 6pm....
