  • Favorite Las Vegas Hotel?

I have stayed in the Paris and I loved it. The Bellagio didn't impress me, but i LOVED the Venetian.

Interesting that you said the Bellagio didn't impress you, because I have a friend who loved it. I've never been to Vegas myself though, so as yet I have no opinion.

      The Bellagio bathroom is hugh.

Wanna be impressed? Midweek hotel rooms in early/mid December are really low. Last year I paid $35 a night at the Hilton. They threw in breakfast buffet for 2 also! I stayed 4 nights for a total of $140.

It was nice. It was classy, but nothing extraordinary. Maybe it's because I like themes--I mean it is Las Vegas.

The Venetian had the most gorgeous murals and architecture. The Paris had a ceiling that was painted to look like the sky, and it was set up like a Paris town.

Vegas has some of the best buffets I have every had. I think I paid 20$ for the lunch buffet, but the food was well worth it!

The Bellagio was definitely my favorite. Beautiful rooms and very friendly and accommodating staff.

My favorite is Planet Hollywood (formerly the Aladdin)....The resort rooms facing the Bellagio Towers are really nice--the bathrooms are huge!....They have a great casino-fun atmosphere, a mall attached to the hotel (formerly Desert Passage), great restaurants (P. F. Changs-it's a chain but it offers great food at low prices)....my favorite part is that in the summer, there is a live band by the pool--nice place to hang out during the day.....Definitely my favorite hotel!

I love the Bellagio and their beds are to die for!...but I have recently made my stays at the WYNN. The service at the Wynn is a cut above the Bellagio. Also the tourist traffic through the Wynn hotel is less than the Bellagio. There would be times at the Bellagio that guests were at a standstill because of the hundreds of visitors just standing in the lobby taking picutures.

I really liked the Venetian and the Palms to be honest. The Palms had the best buffet I thought, and the Ghost bar is amazing. My cousin was formerly employed as the lighting technician for the ghost bar, so VIP all the way. Good stuff.

I completely agree with The Venetian.

I have stayed at Riviera, Monte Carlo, Bellagio, The Mirage, MGM Grand, Circus Circus, Mandalay Bay, Tropicana, and Excalibur.

When it comes to standard rooms, The Venetian can't be beat. All of the rooms are suites with a minimum size of 750 square feet. Even the standard rooms at Wynn and Bellagio are smaller than that. The entire Venetian resort is also very tastefully decorated, it's got one of the hottest nightclubs on the strip (TAO), great shops, and a bunch of highly rated celebrity chef-owned restaurants. Plus, their spa is unmatched.

Plus, it being recently rated the biggest AAA 5-diamond resort doesn't hurt too.

I would by far say that the Venetian is the best hotel to stay at.

Gotta say that The Venetian is one of my favorites. I live in Reno and visit the BIG CITY at least every other month. I tried many other hotels and I just like the convenience of The Venetian...plus great rates!

I've only stayed in one Las Vegas Hotel, and I really did enjoy it. After much research and deliberation, we choose to stay at Cesaer's Palace! The location was just perfect, and we were lucky enough to nab a room in one of the newly renovated towers. They have a nice food court for inexpensive meals (especially breakfast) because after awhile you just cannot eat at another buffet.

I researched the hotels at TripAdvisor; an excellent source of "deal" information is the las vegas deals forum at fatwallet.com.
