Domestic Flights within China ?

Will be travelling to China in 2008 as independent traveller. What is the most economical way to fly between destinations (Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Guilin, Hong Kong) ? Does China Southern or other domestic airline have an excursion package ?

Smurdo, did anyone reply to you? I would love to know the same thing...I can't seem to find anything about domestic travel multi city packages...any clues?

Nope . . nothing yet, Piekou. However, I have a friend that is in Shanghai for a 3 year work assignment. I plan on using her as a resource if I can't find out anything on my own ! Keep me in mind if you learn anything.

I've used CTrip.com to go from Chongqing to Beijing and Chongqing to Guangzhou a number of times and they are quite reliable. Sometimes you can go to a hotel travel agent to book your flights as well. When I book my flights in Chongqing, I go to the Hilton Hotel. There is a friendly travel agent who speaks English.
