    Default Back in the USA!!

    Hi Guys,
I'm a new board member from the CC Boards and, earlier, the Old AOL Cruise Boards. Bonnie and I have traveled all over the world, mostly on cruise ships and have just recently begun to take a few trips in the USA. We traveled to the West Coast and did a week in CA with Caravan last fall and are signed up for another Caravan trip to Yellowstone, Mt Rushmore, etc. It isn't much like cruising but the guides are excellent and there aren't many cruise itineraries to the Midwest. Yosemite was breathtaking and we are expecting more of the same at Yellowstone. If you have used the CC Boards, you have probably seen me there in the past.

Had considered spending some time in Utah but will come back to that at a later date. I understanding it is like nowhere else

I look forward to meeting you on this Board.

    Bop

Hi and welcome, Bop! I am dying to go out west to some of those national parks but haven't made it yet. Hope you'll post and tell us all about them.

    Hi Soliteyah,
I was beginning to think that no one was at home on the IT Board.

I will certainly report back after our trip to Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, etc. We are really looking forward to the trip. I enjoyed the CA trip including Sonoma Valley, Yosemite, Big Sur, etc., but I must admit that I am suffering from "cruise withdrawal". We have never gone this long without a cruise since we began with the Alaska adventure in 1997.

We recently downloaded Skype and have been having a ball "visiting" with cruise friends from all over the US and the UK. Travel and the Internet have certainly shrunk the world.

    Thanks for your response.

    Take care,
    Bop

This is a quiet board, but we're here!

Your California trip sounds fantastic. My mom and I did several days in San Francisco and the surrounding areas (Point Reyes and Muir Woods) last year, and I couldn't believe how beautiful that coastline was. I would love to get back to Point Reyes one day.

If you have Yellowstone/Rushmore questions, let me know. I haven't been to either place, but SO has been multiple times and would be happy to offer info.
