Could you tell me if there will be an Amazing Race 17 please?
I have really missed it....and Phil![]()
Supposed to start in September (probably Sunday the 17)
Yes, there is a new season starting next month. I believe the teams will be announced on Wednesday (probably on the CBS Early Show, or at least on the Amazing Race web page).
I've been reading some of the reality forums - they already know where the teams are going and who's in the final three! Of course, they're usually wrong, which is part of the fun of reading these "spoilers" - guessing which spoilers are right and which are wrong is a game in itself!
I can't wait for the season to start!
Meet the teams for season 17
amazing-race-17-cast-320.jpgThe 17th edition of "The Amazing Race" will feature a reunited birth mother and daughter, a beauty queen and her dad, a YouTube star and -- no kidding -- two college buddies who are also a cappella singers.
The 11 teams will begin racing in a 90-minute premiere on Sunday, Sept. 26. The race will hit 30 cities in its 32,000-mile journey, including first-time stops in Ghana, Bangladesh and above the Arctic Circle.
CBS also says that the team who finishes first in the premiere will get a "surprise, game-changing advantage" that's never been part of the show before.

NO tell me it isn't so!!! 10 PM is terrible!! with work on Monday morning I rarely see the end of any show that starts at 10!!!
Am so glad the race is back!! and only 3 weeks to go! So what do you think is the big surprise for the winners of the 1st leg???? "They" say it will be race changing but what's that mean?????
Well, looking at the choices, I have to go with the home folks-- the Scottsdale Doctors (Team MD?) The team of the Choreographer and the Student from Tucson. And my third team is the Beach Volleyball Team. Interesting mix.
First Out-- Dating couple from Marina del Rey.
Just my predictions.
Thanks goodness AR will still be at 8PM!!! Heard rumors the first episode will be 90 minutes - anyone else heard that???
Great news...I am so glad it is back...and thank you Joey's Girl for the list of competitors.
It hasn't got a mention here yet but we are usually either one or two weeks behind the USA.
I so hope it isn't on the evening we fly to Cairns...I'd hate to miss the first episode, that's when I usually get an idea of who my favourites will be. We do usually have an extended one the first night it airs. We leave here at 10 PM to fly to Cairns and the AR is usually on at 9.30 PM.
Oh !!! I just remembered, it has always been shown here on Thursday's![]()
i really dont knowthis bt i can try
thanks
