What is the best mode of transportation? The last time we went, we rode a bus that picked us up from our hotel for a day trip. It was nice, but I want to spend a couple nights there this time.

We want to stay very near if not on the Canyon, so I think El Tovar is our choice.

This is what I was thiinking: fly into McCarran Airport, pick up a rental car. Drive to and stay at GC a couple nights, then back to the airport drop off the car and get a taxi to our hotel in Vegas. Whewww I'm tired already. Does this sound like too much? Any other ideas?
