Hmm, definitely depends on the trip. At the end of a beach vacation, I'm usually pretty relaxed. If we're doing something more adventurous/exploratory, I'm usually glad to be home in my own bed by the end, no matter how much fun I had or how fascinating the place was.
The day I have to go back to work after a trip ... now that's when I might get a little depressed.
