    Default Turkeys travel tips

When in Turkey make sure you see:
Istanbul...Topkapi Palace, The Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. Side Pension is a good choice to stay at.
    Gallipoli...TJ Tours are fantastik!
Selcuk...is a nicer place to stay to see Ephesus then Kusadasi. Kusadasi is the cruise ship port town, can be more expensive but may be a good choice if a party is what you are after
ANZ Guesthouse is a good choice here.
    Have a look at www.anzguesthouse.com
Koycegiz...is worth a trip as it is a small viallge where you can do a day boat cruise along the river that takes you past Lycian rock tombs, goes to turtle beach and you can cover yourself in mud!
Fethiye makes for a good base.
    Ferah Hostel was good here.
If you have time do a boat cruise for 3 nights 4 days. They finish in olympos. Well worth!
Olympos...is set in a national park where a river runs through the ancient ruins. Kadirs Tree Houses are the famous tree houses here.
Cappadokia...is in central Turkey where the ferry chimnies are and underground cities are. It is such a neat place with such a wild landscape.
Kelebek Pension is a really good choice here.

I suggest you have a look on http://www.glo-con.com . It is a new international accommodation portal in 6 languages and owners can be contacted directly . There are also many travel articles with good information about worldwide destinations.

Try looking at Louis Cruises....they're based in Cyprus, and sail in that region, sometimes for short cruises. We've been with them, and, whilst they're not as glamorous as the big lines, they do serve a good itinerary.

How do you go from the airport to town around Citadel? Anyone know how much the cab cost? One tour operator wants US$ 150.00 for 5 pp. I think it's pretty steep.
