I am new to this site as well as to traveling in Italy. Taking a transatlantic cruise to Rome and need advice in traveling in Rome with an electric scooter.

How are you reaching Rome? Ships dock in Civitavecchia, an hour's drive from Rome....are you on a shuttle, or doing your own thing? There's a shuttle bus provided by the port, to the gates, and it's a few minutes along the pavement to the railway station, if you're going that way.....around €10 or €11, I believe.
Have a wonderful cruise- which ship are you on?
