AR 20: Finale!

Well, that wasn't terribly surprising, was it? Still, though, I was glad of the result. I couldn't stand to see Art and JJ win, or whiny Rachel. I actually liked blonde Rachel -- she had a really spunky, positive attitude that really served them well in the race.

I wasn't a huge fan of Vanessa, but I was sorry to see them lose because of an injury. Major props to her for finishing that crazy game show task! I didn't love the way Ralph was yelling at her there, but you could tell it was because he was worried about her. Despite the fact that I didn't really like them as individuals all that much, they were clearly very solid in their relationship. I LOL'd at her putting on her makeup in the car afterwards. Too funny. (Did anyone notice that Ralph seemed to be total sour grapes at the finish line? He didn't crack a smile when any of the other teams came in.)

Speaking of LOL's, Art doing the chicken game show thing totally cracked me up. And I couldn't help but enjoy karma coming around when he couldn't get the sled thing done. Heh.

Lucky Dave and Rachel to have won a trip to Queenstown, NZ! One of the most beautiful places I've ever been.

Was a good finale after all that hype that was shown in the previews!! Glad that Rachel & Dave won. She was a real trouper throughout the whole thing. Remember her stacking the bales of hay as Dave threw them down?? I always felt she showed her strength right there.

Was really worried when they had to go back. Could have been a real downer for them but they just did what had to be done!!

Did feel a little sorry for Art with the "sled". Rachel made it look easy but it could have been 'cause she's so much smaller and had better balance.

So glad whiny Rachel didn't win!!

Now it's on to the next one. Sept. or Oct??????

Agreed, it was a good finale. I too was glad Rachel (of Rachel & Dave) won, though I didn't really care so much about Dave. She was a great racer -- strong, smart and positive.
