I've read on the website of the cruise terminal for Bremerhaven that they have a public bus stop right outside. However, the map I have from the Tourist Information Center makes it look like the closest bus stop to Kreuzfahrt would be Schleusenstr, which appears to be 1.5-2 km away. Is anyone familiar with the Cruise Terminal? Can anyone advise where the closest bus stop is located for a ride to the main train station--Hauptbahnhof? I understand that the port runs a shuttle when ships are in port; however, that shuttle is 10 euro, and it seems the city bus is much cheaper. Also, although afternoon times are listed for the shuttle from the train station back to the ship, I could not find the time that shuttle starts in the morning. We arrive in Bremerhaven at 7:00 am, and are hoping to catch a train to Bremen no later than the 8:28, as we have a short day--leaving at 4:00, so probably have to be back on board at 3:00. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!
