Do you pay attention to the flight attendants during the safety briefings before takeoff? Vote in our poll!
They don't perform anymore....it's on a video and I figure....either the pilot is going to work it out with all s/he's got or, I've got nothing to worry about. If it were just an emergency landing and we hand to use the slides (no shoes) I'd be wanting my shoes back but then again, depending upon why we had to come down, it might be very unimportant. It's usually just comfy old shoes anyway...who dresses up to fly anymore.
But *I* advised the young girl in my row recently who popped her seat belt early after landing and seemed eager to pop up to please wait, smiling, and she sweetly did, smiling. Didn't want her to fall down. She was precious. I'm the daughter of a pilot so I do take it seriously as perhaps often worse things have happened on the ground, oddly enough, than in the air.
Still the safest way to travel
