Cabo san lucas water taxi vs. land taxi

Could anyone tell me if they have taken a land taxi to Medano Beach rather than a water taxi. I am interested in the amount of time it takes to get there from the tender pier and what hotel you were dropped off at. Is it a long walk from the hotel or drop off point to the beach? From what I understand the water taxis will be too hard to get off and on for a family member. Can you please share your experiences?

Medano is accessible by both water taxi and land taxi.. I guess it would all depend on where you would be coming from.. The beach you may be referring to is Lover's Beach (playa del amor). It is only accessible by water taxi. Water taxi's are pretty easy to get in an out of. I am not sure if they are wheelchair accessible though. Playa el Medano is located right downtown Cabo San Lucas. The beach starts on on the east side of the harbour and then reaches down al the way to Villa Palmar. It is probably easier for you to take a land taxi to the beach as parking is sometimes crazy. (in the peak season). The walk from the taxi to the beach is not very far.

Can be accessed only by water taxi. Water taxi is pretty easy to get at the origin. I am not sure if they are wheelchair accessible though. Abdul Haq is Playa Medano center of Cabo San Lucas.
