See my countdown clock for my travel plans! I'm headed to Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico this September with my mom. So excited!

That will blow the travel budget for the rest of the season, so I'll probably just do day trips around the Philly area to see the local foliage. Luckily I live within 10 minutes of a state park and a county park, so there are plenty of nice hiking trails to take advantage of.

We're off to Lake Tahoe and Yosemite! Hopefully, they wont be as crowded in the fall, and being high country, we might even see some fall color.

Ooh, sounds fun! Will you be driving/hiking/both? Have you been before?

We're headed to Boston on October 16 (from NJ), with stops in Connecticut. Seeking scenic roads that give us a great view of fall colors yet don't add too much driving time. Wish us some clear weather please!

I am going to California in November, and toying with the idea of going to Spain in January. Lufthansa is having another fare sale, but it ends this friday. Not sure if I'll makeup my mind before then, but I am excited about the possibility of going.

Ooh, I really want to go back to Spain, and I bet January wouldn't be a bad time to go -- no crowds at least. I was there in May and almost died of the heat in Madrid...

soliteyah, I hope I get to go as well. But its up to the travel gods if I do... No, seriously Lufthansa's winter sale is pretty sweet, its hard to just ignore such a sweet deal. Spain in January is nice. I went there a few years ago, and it was a bit chilly actually, but I guess its better than not being able to breathe because its so hot!!!
