Smile Advice please! Female, 25 visiting Marrakech alone in November

Hi everyone

This is my first post... I'm going to Marrakech in November for 4 nights on my own. I've always wanted to go, and I'm comfortable it's a safe place, but it would put my mind at rest to hear from others who've done this or visited.

I've chosen to stay in a hostel in the Souks (http://www.hostelworld.com/hosteldetails.php/La-Casa-Del-Sol/Marrakech/24361), as I thought I would be safer to be in the middle of everything so I'd never had to travel too far. My questions are:

> Is this a good idea, or should I consider changing my accomodation to somewhere else?

> Will it be safe for me to visit Djeema el-Fna at night and go to and from my hostel in the souks alone?

> Are conservative but clearly western clothes OK? ie jeans

> I'm blonde - should I consider covering my hair?

> Should I consider getting a guide? I've heard such mixed things about this.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer
