Default Won free trip.............

My fiance and I attended a bridal fair, where we ended up winning a 4day/3night stay at 1 of the following resorts: Phoenix Beach Resort, Divi Village, or Dutch Village. We are looking for any advice on Aruba we can get, since this will be the first time visiting for both of us. Somewhere close to, if not on, the ocean would be nice. Also, nightlife is somewhat important to us. What time of the year is best to visit? We are thinking of using these vouchers in October or November. Thanks in advance!!

Default Aruba

Aruba is the greatest place any time of the year. The island is not in the tropical belt so you are sure to have great weather ALWAYS! The temperature remains the same all year round with a constant warm breeze. I have been in every month but December which I avoid because it gets a little more crowded. October is my favorite time there. Definatly stay at the Phoenix. It is on the nicest beach and the high rise stretch has a path connecting all of the other highrises.
It is very safe in Aruba even in town. The only problem I ever had was making phone calls. Be sure to purchase an international card there. If you use your own calling card, hotel operator, or credit card, it will cost you about 39.00 for a 3 minute call. I learned the hard! The casino at the Hyatt is the best there in my opinion. The Sunset Grille located in the Radison is a wonderful (not cheap) place for dinner. There are so many good places to eat and all pretty reasonable. The bars in town are open late and all a party in itself. Have a terrific time.

Default Aruba

The voting results favored the Phoenix Divi. I am surprised, because, if I remember correctly, this property is at the end of the beach where the winds are too strong. But I believe it IS on Palm Beach, the best beach of the island. Many hotels along that beach strip and some have casinos. My opinion is the Divi Village is the nicest property of the 3 in the poll. It is across from Eagle Beach. Aruba is fine anytime of the yr., since it is on the equator, which means the same 80 temp. all yr. High season is mif-Frv. to mid-April.
