For those who are travelling to Barbados or have Barbados on there travel plans, I certainly recommend a lovely place called Puerta Azul Apartments located in the Parish of Christchurch. The translation for our English speaking audience is "The Blue Gates Apartments". The owners are beautiful people who will guide you in the right direction about the Island and its particulars. There are two separate units that are self contained and have one Bedroom that accommodates two people. There is a shower and bathroom facility, kitchenette for light cooking, and a sitting area. The rates are very good. The go for $60.00usd per night. You are close proximity to the Famous Miami Beach and the Fish Fry at Oistens. puerta azul sounds great, but I suggest you check out the apartments and villa at www.secureleisure.co.uk which are close to the west coast beach and are great value.
